These 10 Pieces of Travel Jewelry Will Take You On An Adventure

I love travel.

Like, love love love it. Like, I'd much rather be traveling than sitting at home.

Why?

Why not? The food is always phenomenal. The sounds are always unique. The smells are always...well, ok, the smells aren't always great, but the sights are always (get ready...) wanderful.

Yes, I'm hilarious.

Here are 10 awesome pieces of handmade travel/ wanderlust/ adventure jewelry that will take you to the moon and back.

1. World Traveler Jewelry Set, LaughMetals
Totally a shameless plug. I can't describe to you how much I love this jewelry set. I have one of my own, and wear it at least once a week (not an exaggeration).

This jewelry set is perfect for the world traveler or the desperate wanderluster. A gold world map bracelet perfectly compliments a set of 3D gold Eiffel Tower earrings. Worn together, the set gives a lovely warmth to any outfit, and expresses your love of travel without you having to say a word. *cough* Awesome Mother's Day gift* $20-27 depending on chain length and Eiffel Tower material (option of silver).

2. World Map Ring, WorldMapRingCo
I love this ring. I will someday own this ring and wear it daily. It's beautiful! The world map is easy to identify and the ring itself is simply, but aesthetically, structured.

The one downside? This ring costs. $210.

3. Traveler Suitcase Earrings, allkellyscrafts
Now to the other end of the price spectrum. These cute suitcase earrings are just adorable. Seriously, anyone can wear them, they're lightweight, and they're easy to identify as suitcases.

Not enough, you say?

How about the fact that they're totally unique and original? Most of the other travel jewelry (as you'll see) features planes and maps. These are a break away and a stand-out.

The best part? They're only $5!

4. Silver Travel Map Plane Bracelet, yhtanaff
Ya'll know how I feel about simple: simplicity is felicity. This bracelet is just perfect: not overwhelming, not difficult to understand, and because of it's sleek design you can sear it with just about any outfit, any day. $62.

5. France 25 Centimes Coin Ring, TDsCustomShop
So, I have to tell you guys, I specifically went looking for this kind of ring, because I have one very similar to it, and I love it. This ring is crafted from a coin.

Think about it: you can literally walk around with foreign currency on your finger.

With a totally reasonable price tag of $22.95, and the fact that this is available in any ring size you could ever want, this is a total no-brainer.

6. Wooden Map Earrings, CurleeBirdees
Aren't these just so neat?! They have maps on them, and they're not the same globe-like studs that you see everywhere. Instead they're on wood with a brass backing. These are definitely on my "to purchase" list. $8.

7. Travel Bracelet, Bubblebox
Isn't this wanderlust bracelet beautiful? I love the negative map combined with the stamped word "wanderlust" and the stamped arrows along the bottom. Because it's a cuff bracelet, it will fit anyone, and the design is both simple and stunning.

This bracelet is available in 5 different materials, and prices range from brass (for $59.97) to sterling silver (for $239.89).

8. Compass Necklace, StudioSimpleJewelry
I almost didn't include this piece, just because I thought "these have gotta be a dime a dozen", but the more I looked, the fewer I saw! This piece looks like it belongs in big box stores, but it's a handmade item...which tells you the following:

      1. This piece is done well enough that they could probably make deals with large corporations.

      2. The design is common enough that everyone knows what it is instantly.

I love the simplicity of this piece and how well the outer circle compliments the compass points. $27.

9. Bicycle Earrings, CacophanyArtShop
We live in a great day & age, where you can literally bike across Europe. I love that these earrings, without being distinctly travel earrings, hearken to that idea with they're awesome swirls, beautiful coloration, and cool little bikes.

Another selling point? The fact that the bike is even included. A lot of teardrop earrings rely on their unique shape to make the sale, but these earrings take the shape and use it to create a beautiful, memorable piece. Totally on my list of things to buy (and I don't even like biking!) $17.

10. Always Lost mantra bracelet, lifeandlyrics
I just stumbled across this gem and couldn't leave it be. I love that the words (which are apparently song lyrics) capture the adventure that comes with travel. Add the "Traveller" bracelet and the set is practically begging to be taken on a road trip. $15 each or $25 together.

Whew! Great job kids, we've reached the end! Next week I'll hit a whole new fandom. Let me know what you thought of this week's selections in the comments below!
