Top 5 Handmade Sensational Circular Steampunk Selections

I've been wanting and waiting to write this post for a while. Because I love the steampunk style, and I want to be sure I portray this awesome style in the best way possible.

There are a lot of steampunk pieces, though. Far too many to celebrate in just one blog post.

So I'm breaking it down. Here are the top 5 pieces of handmade circular steampunk jewelry.

1. Steampunk Birthstone Necklace, by LuckySteamPunk
Isn't this necklace awesome? The birthstone is customizable and because each piece is different (due to available watch pieces), you're guaranteed a completely unique piece of jewelry. Ususally, $22, $13.20 on sale.

2. Steampunk Bottle earrings, by DreamsandMachines
K, so I know this is a bit of a stretch on the "circular" steampunk requirement, but stick with me.

Typically, I wouldn't be all that impressed with the concept of these earrings: gears in a bottle never made anyone swoon. But the execution of these earrings is great: the pieces in the bottles are perfectly tiny, and the bottle toppers that DreamsandMachines chose make the bottles look like industrial-age lightbulbs, creating an overall awesome piece. $10.73.

3. Steampunk Stud earrings, by Olisava
I had to share these earrings. The gears are beautifully housed and the size of the earrings is perfect for anyone looking for low-key steampunk jewelry to wear to work. Ususally $24.99.

4. Jade Yin & Yang Steampunk necklace, by zadeeda
What an original concept for a piece of steampunk jewelry! You don't usually associate yin & yang with the steampunk movement, so this necklace is totally unexpected. The execution is beautiful, and complete with gear placement on the back.Ususally $44, $35.20 on sale.

5. Astronomical Clock necklace, by SomeMagic
I love this necklace. It's a nice break away from the typical steampunk jewelry, what with the lack of gears and a totally non-industrialized style. $12.50 for this gem.
